Terms of sale
What you're buying
Ekadant is sold once, for one person on one computer at a time. These are the terms of that sale. They match what the software does, and they agree with the licence file inside your copy.
Last updated 24 September 2026.
What you are buying
A licence to install and use Ekadant, for your own work or for the organisation that bought it. It is sold once, at the price shown at the checkout in your currency, with tax added where it applies. There is no subscription to us, and nothing is charged again unless you choose to renew updates, below.
- One seat. One person, on one computer at a time.
- The seat moves. Install on a new computer and Ekadant offers to bring the seat there. So that nobody who has merely seen a copy of your licence can take it from you, the move is confirmed with a six-digit code sent to the address you bought with. The computer that gave up the seat says so, and can take it back the same way. Moves are limited over any thirty days: enough for a new laptop, not enough to share one licence around.
- For as long as you like. The licence does not expire. Your copy keeps working, on your computer, at the version it is entitled to, whether or not you ever pay again.
Trying it first
A copy downloaded without buying runs free for fourteen days, with nothing to pay and no card asked for. The fourteen days start the first time it does any work, not the day you download it. The clock is kept by our licence server against your installation, so reinstalling does not restart it. When the trial ends the copy stops until you buy.
Updates
A purchase includes twelve months of updates from the day you buy. New versions arrive on their own: Ekadant looks once a day unless you set it to weekly or turn it off. A fix for a security problem is applied without waiting for you.
After twelve months your copy keeps working exactly as it does that day. New versions stop arriving, and so does reaching the dashboard from your phone, which runs for as long as updates do. A later fix that has to reach every copy — a security problem, or a change in Claude that stops the plugin loading — is still sent to copies whose updates have ended. Another twelve months is an optional renewal, offered in the dashboard once your updates have ended and in the email that comes with a release. Renewing early adds a year to the date you have rather than replacing it.
Nothing renews by itself. There is no automatic renewal and no card kept on file by us. The window ends; you decide.
What Ekadant does not do
- It does not decide for you. Accepting a proposal, waiving a check, graduating a product and overriding a rule are yours. The agents are refused them by the program, not merely asked not to.
- It certifies nothing. A check recorded as passing means one stated procedure produced one stated result, and nothing more. No ledger, audit record or exported document, including a governance pack, is an assurance that anything is secure, lawful, compliant, safe with personal data, or bounded in what it costs to run. Review what it produces before you rely on it, ship it or merge it, and take security, legal and data-protection advice from people qualified to give it.
- It does not push a run's code straight to your main branch. Code goes to a pull request, and a merge waits for your repository's own checks. Whether it then merges without asking you is the autonomy setting, which is yours to choose. What finally stops anything going round that is branch protection on your repository, a setting only you can switch on.
- It does not hold your code or your keys. It runs on your computer and in your own GitHub repositories. The Claude token that scheduled runs use lives in your own repository's secrets. Your products and their contents are not sent to Polyglyph Analytica.
- It uses your own Claude subscription. Ekadant is a plugin for Claude Code and runs on the Claude plan you already have, which must include Claude Code. That plan is not included in the price, and Anthropic's own terms and usage limits apply to it. Each run carries a spending ceiling, and a schedule turns itself off when your plan's limit is reached rather than retrying, but the allowance it draws on is yours. Ekadant is not affiliated with Anthropic.
- It does not pretend the agents cannot be wrong. The rules that matter are enforced by the program, by hooks and by audits rather than by instructions to a model, and some things still depend on a model's judgement. The
CONTAINMENT.mdfile in your copy says which is which.
What you make with it is yours
Everything Ekadant produces for you — your products, their code, their requirements, their ledgers, and the documents the dashboard exports — is yours. Polyglyph Analytica claims no ownership of it and no licence to it.
The padlock address
The dashboard runs on your computer and is reached at a local address. So that the address can carry a padlock and work with passkeys, it can also be reached as local.ekadant.polyglyphanalytica.com, a name that points to your own computer and nowhere else. The certificate for that name, and its private key, are shared by every licensed copy. They prove only that the name maps to your machine. Treat them as part of the product, not as a secret of yours: nothing under that name ever leaves your computer.
What you may not do
You may not copy, share, sell, rent, lease, sublicense or otherwise make Ekadant available to anyone else, including the licence file inside your copy and your download link. You may not use one licence on more computers than it allows. You may not change, decompile or reverse engineer it to get round the licence check, the seat, the integrity check or any limit in the licence, and you may not remove its copyright or licence notices. Reading and changing the source of your own installed copy, for your own use, is allowed; passing the result on is not.
The licence ends if you break these terms, and when a purchase is refunded or charged back. The copy then stops running.
Refunds
Thirty days from purchase, in full, no questions. It is one press, from any of three places: the Your Ekadant email, your download page, or Your copy in the dashboard. Paddle returns the money and the licence ends when the refund is approved. The refund policy has the whole of it, including renewals.
No warranty
Ekadant is provided as is. Polyglyph Analytica does not promise that it will build the product you want, that anything it builds is fit for a particular purpose, or that it is free of errors. To the extent the law allows, Polyglyph Analytica is not liable for any loss arising from its use, and its total liability is limited to what you paid for the licence in the twelve months before the claim. Nothing in these terms takes away rights the law where you live gives you as a consumer.
Your data
What you build stays on your computer and in your own repositories. What leaves your computer, and why, is set out in the privacy policy.
The law
These terms and the licence are governed by the law of England and Wales. If you buy as a consumer you also keep the protection of the law of the country you live in, and you can bring a claim in its courts.
Changes
The terms on this page on the day you buy are the ones that apply to your purchase. If they change, the date at the top changes with them, and a change never takes away a licence already bought.
